With over 50 years of experience
We are the oldest private Montessori kindergarten in the Canton of Zurich, with 50 years of experience.
Our school provides a group of 3- to 6-year-old children with an excellent education and high-quality care, thanks to our experienced and highly motivated Montessori teachers. We help the children develop their personalities and abilities to the fullest, at their own pace.
The ideal learning environment for children ages 3 to 6
At the Montessori School Zurich, children ages 3 to 6 will find the ideal setting to engage in activities that meet their needs and interests within a loving, aesthetically pleasing, and clearly structured environment.
Our institution is accredited by the Montessori Association (Switzerland) and holds an operating license from the Department of Education of the Canton of Zurich. The competencies specified by Curriculum 21 are met at our facility in accordance with the Montessori method.
Community, Respect, and Life Skills
The diverse age groups of the children and the opportunity to work independently or in a group foster social skills. Considerate interaction and mutual respect are core principles at our school. These many positive learning experiences provide children with a strong sense of security and healthy self-confidence as they move forward in life.
We look forward to accompanying your child through this important stage.

Montessori Pedagogy
Montessori views children as independent and self-reliant. Learn how a prepared environment and materials with built-in error-checking mechanisms support self-directed learning.
Lunch
Lunchtime, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., is a time for settling in, enjoying a meal, and relaxing. Through free play, fresh meals from our in-house kitchen, and group circle games, the children experience a sense of security, community, and relaxation.
